Foreign Minister meets with the Chair of the NATO Military Committee

Foreign Minister Bjarni Benediktsson held a meeting today with the Chair of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer of the Royal Netherlands Navy. Among the topics discussed were NATO's deterrence and defence posture, the war in Ukraine, and security and defence in the North Atlantic and Arctic. 

This is the third time that Admiral Bauer visits Iceland in his capacity as Chair of the Military Committee. During his visit to Iceland he also spoke at the Arctic Circle Assembly.
